Camps

Our twenty years' experience running day camps
has taught us how to effectively introduce kids
to horses in a safe and fun environment. Our
campers learn safety, basic horse care,
grooming, exercise and care of tack, while
learning valuable life lessons such as
responsibility, patience, self-reliance and
teamwork.

Advanced campers hone their riding and
jumping skills and learn what it takes to
compete in the show ring - including proper
attire and attitude.

Horse camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,
with extended hours and more activities
available in the afternoons. Camps are dynamic
and tailored to the ages and abilities of those
attending. Lessons are taught on the ground, in
the saddle and bareback. We offer camps all
summer as well as holidays and school breaks.

Again the early-morning sun was
generous with its warmth. All the
sounds dear to a horseman were
around me - the snort of the
horses as they cleared their
throats, the gentle swish of their
tails, the tinkle of irons as we
flung the saddles over their backs
- little sounds of no importance,
but they stay in the unconscious
library of memory.
