Rancho Saguaro's barn is designed with the
stalls backing to the indoor riding arena and
face outward, so that the horses have a view of
hills, trees and other horses, rather than their
work environment. Thirty-six stalls are over-sized
at 12 x 14, and two 14 x 16 stalls are available
for special needs.
Stalls are bedded with high quality pine
shavings, cleaned daily, and horses are fed
three times a day, including grass and grain
hay, and complete feed at lunch. Optional
services are available including lunging, hand
walking, turnout, feeding of supplements,
blanketing and laundry. We also hold shot and
worming clinics and can arrange for farrier
services and veterinary care.
We are not currently accepting horses for
pasture boarding, although there are small
turnout pastures and paddocks available for
horses with stalls. Give us a call today and we'll
arrange a tour of the ranch for you.
Many people have sighed for the
'good old days' and regretted the
'passing of the horse,' but today,
when only those who like horses
own them, it is a far better time
for horses. ~C.W. Anderson
When your horses are boarded at Rancho
Saguaro, you have a registered veterinary
technician looking after them daily. Laura
works for a local veterinarian, has training
in chiropractic care and massage therapy
and can often spot problems before they
become serious.
